Odyssey Series 3 Pens Insulin Cooler (BC-B001-Navy Blue)

Unboxing my DISONCARE Insulin Cooler!

As a type 1 diabetic, I rely on insulin to live, eat, and all the good things! Keeping my insulin viable and safe, means making sure it does not get too warm. When insulin gets too warm, the heat causes the insulin to essentially go bad and no longer be effective. This can cause major problems when dosing for meals or facing extreme highs due to bad insulin.

The DISONCARE insulin cooler was made to prevent this by keeping insulin cold! Here are the details on mine!

DISONCARE Odyssey BC-B001 is the Standard Lid model in the Odyssey medication cooler series. It is designed as a passive cooling container for carrying selected compatible injection devices during travel.

Current Odyssey BC-B001 product highlights:

  • Fits up to 3 selected common insulin pens, depending on the exact device format and packing setup
  • Up to 60 hours of cooling support under controlled test conditions
  • Standard Lid — no digital temperature display
  • Double-wall vacuum-insulated 18/8 stainless-steel construction
  • Designed for air travel and portable medication cooling

Cooling performance varies with ambient temperature, BioGel preparation, medication load, packing setup, and how often the cooler is opened. The cooler does not actively regulate medication temperature.
