This is the smallest, the Holiday, and the one I’ve been using on a day-to-day basis, when I’m out and about, relaxing by the pool, or for beach days. 🌞
💙As you might know, insulin that’s in use can generally just be stored at room temperature for up to 28 days; it doesn’t have to be kept in the fridge.
However, if you’re in a place where it’s more than 86°For 30 °C or the insulin is in direct prolonged sunlight, you might get in trouble as the insulin can go bad.
So, given I live in a hot climate and I like to be in the sun, a cooler like this one has been a great option to keep my insulin safe.
What I like about this cooler and why it’s my everyday choice is that:
1) It’s lightweight
2) Doesn’t take up a lot of space
3) And it can keep my insulin safe for up to 16 hours
Officially, it can hold one insulin pen, 10 insulin cartridges, or 3 insulin vials. And that is really all you should try to fit in there.
