Looking for a medication cooler that fits your GLP-1 injection device? This guide helps you compare DISONCARE Holiday, Odyssey and Intercontinental coolers by actual injection-device format and carrying capacity.
GLP-1 injection devices are not all the same size. Depending on the medication, market and product version, you may be using a slimmer multi-dose pen, a KwikPen-style device, a single-dose pen or another wider injection format.
Important: Always identify the exact injection device you use before choosing a cooler. Do not determine fit from the medication name alone.

GLP-1 Cooler Fit Comparison
| DISONCARE Series | General GLP-1 Fit Direction | Cooling Support | Best Fit Direction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Holiday | 1 compatible GLP-1 injection device | Up to 16H | Compact single-device carry |
| Odyssey | Up to 2 selected slimmer / multi-dose pens or 1 wider device | Up to 60H | Flexible GLP-1 travel carry |
| Intercontinental BC-B002 | Up to 3 selected multi-dose pens or 1 selected wider device | Up to 60H | More room for selected GLP-1 devices |
| Intercontinental BC-B003 | Up to 5 selected multi-dose pens or up to 2 selected wider devices | Up to 74H | Highest-capacity option for selected GLP-1 devices |
These are general size-selection references, not universal quantities for every GLP-1 product. Actual fit depends on the exact device format, dimensions, protective barrier and packing arrangement.
Why GLP-1 Device Format Matters
Two injection products used in the same general medication category can have very different external dimensions. Even the same medication name may be supplied in different injection-device formats depending on market or product version.
For fit purposes, DISONCARE separates devices into practical physical formats such as:
- slimmer multi-dose pens;
- KwikPen-style multi-dose devices;
- wider single-dose injection devices;
- other prefilled injection-device formats.
This is why a cooler may hold several selected slimmer pens but only one or two wider single-dose devices.
Common GLP-1 Injection Devices
DISONCARE Fit Guides may include selected injection-device formats associated with products such as:
- Ozempic
- Wegovy
- Mounjaro
- Zepbound
- Saxenda
- Victoza
- Trulicity
- Byetta
- Lyxumia
- Bydureon BCise
These names are used to help identify the physical injection devices customers may carry. They do not mean every version of the named product has the same dimensions or the same cooler capacity.
When a product is available in more than one device format, the formats should be checked separately.
Multi-Dose and Slimmer GLP-1 Pens
Selected multi-dose GLP-1 pens generally use less internal space than wider single-dose injection devices. This can allow more than one compatible device to fit in Odyssey or Intercontinental models.
Examples of device formats that should be checked in this category include selected versions of:
- Ozempic
- Saxenda
- Victoza
- Wegovy FlexTouch
- Mounjaro KwikPen
- Zepbound KwikPen
Always use the specific device format shown in the detailed Series Fit Guide rather than applying one capacity number to every version of the medication.
Wider Single-Dose Injection Devices
Some GLP-1 injection devices use a wider single-dose format and require significantly more internal space than a typical slim multi-dose pen.
Examples that should be treated as separate device formats include:
- Mounjaro single-dose injection device
- Zepbound single-dose injection device
- Trulicity single-dose device
- Bydureon BCise
Do not apply a “2 pens,” “3 pens” or “5 pens” claim from slimmer pen formats automatically to these wider devices. Check the Series Fit Guide for the exact model.
Holiday Fit for GLP-1 Injection Devices
The DISONCARE Holiday Series is designed around 1 compatible injection device and has the smallest usable internal space in the hard-cooler range.
Selected device formats currently identified as compatible with Holiday include:
- Ozempic
- Saxenda
- Victoza
- Byetta
- Lyxumia
- Mounjaro KwikPen
- Wegovy U.S. pen format
- Wegovy FlexTouch
Holiday is intended for one compatible device, not multiple GLP-1 pens.
Selected Wider Devices That Do Not Fit Holiday
- Mounjaro single-dose injection device
- Zepbound single-dose injection device
- Trulicity single-dose device
- Bydureon BCise
Because device versions can change by market, use the detailed Holiday Fit Guide to confirm the exact format before ordering.

Odyssey Fit for GLP-1 Injection Devices
The DISONCARE Odyssey Series provides more internal space than Holiday and is designed for flexible injection-device carry.
Depending on the exact format, Odyssey can accommodate:
- up to 2 selected slimmer or multi-dose GLP-1 pens;
- or 1 selected wider injection device.
Current confirmed Odyssey fit includes:
- Mounjaro KwikPen — up to 2
- Zepbound KwikPen — up to 2
Other devices should be checked by their exact dimensions and format before assigning a specific quantity.
The same core fit logic applies to:
- BC-B001 Standard Lid
- BC-B004 Digital Temperature Display
- BC-B006 Mechanical Dial
These three Odyssey configurations mainly differ by lid design rather than internal cooler-body capacity.

Intercontinental Fit for GLP-1 Injection Devices
The DISONCARE Intercontinental Series provides additional internal room for selected GLP-1 injection devices. BC-B002 and BC-B003 should be checked separately because they have different usable capacities.
Intercontinental BC-B002
For selected confirmed formats, BC-B002 can accommodate:
- Victoza — up to 5
- Ozempic — up to 3
- Wegovy FlexTouch — up to 3
- Saxenda — up to 3
- selected wider single-dose devices — up to 1
For wider single-dose formats such as selected Mounjaro, Zepbound or Trulicity devices, check the detailed BC-B002 fit information before ordering.
A specific quantity for Mounjaro KwikPen or Zepbound KwikPen should not be assumed for BC-B002 unless that exact device has been confirmed.
Intercontinental BC-B003
BC-B003 is the larger Intercontinental option and can accommodate up to 5 selected multi-dose GLP-1 pens or up to 2 selected wider devices, depending on the exact format and packing setup.
One currently confirmed device-specific reference is:
- Bydureon BCise — up to 3
Mounjaro KwikPen and Zepbound KwikPen should continue to be checked as separate device formats; do not assign a specific BC-B003 quantity unless the exact format has been confirmed.

How to Check Your GLP-1 Injection Device
1. Identify the Exact Device Version
Do not stop at the medication name. Check whether your device is a multi-dose pen, KwikPen, single-dose pen, auto-injector or another format.
2. Check the Market or Product Version
The same medication may use different devices in different countries or product versions. Match the physical device you actually have to the device shown in the Fit Guide.
3. Measure the Device With the Cap On
Use the full device length and widest external diameter in the condition you plan to carry it.
4. Include the Protective Barrier
A protective pouch or other suitable barrier uses some internal space and should be included when evaluating real-world fit.
5. Check the Quantity You Actually Need
A cooler that fits two slimmer multi-dose pens may fit only one wider device. Choose by exact device and quantity rather than the largest general capacity number shown for the cooler series.
6. Never Force the Cooler Closed
If the device does not fit comfortably with the cooling setup and protective barrier in place, choose a larger cooler rather than compressing the injection device.
Which DISONCARE Cooler Should You Choose?
Choose Holiday for One Compatible Compact Device
Holiday is the smallest option and is designed for one compatible injection device. It works best when compact carry is the priority and your exact device is confirmed to fit.

GLP-1 Devices vs Insulin Pens
Do not use insulin-pen capacity numbers as a substitute for GLP-1 fit information. Many common insulin pens are relatively slim, while some GLP-1 injection devices are considerably wider.
If you carry insulin rather than a GLP-1 injection device, use the dedicated guide:

Important GLP-1 Fit Notes
- Fit refers to the physical injection device, not the medication ingredient itself.
- Device design may vary by medication, dose, country, product version or delivery system.
- A quantity confirmed for one device format should not automatically be applied to another format using the same medication name.
- Protective pouches and packing arrangement can reduce usable capacity.
- Do not force a device into the cooler or close the lid under excessive pressure.
- Physical fit does not determine the storage requirements of a medication.
Always follow the current storage and handling instructions supplied with your specific medication.
DISONCARE cooling containers do not include or sell insulin, GLP-1 medication, prescription drugs or injectable medicines.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do all GLP-1 pens have the same size?
No. GLP-1 injection products can use different device formats, including slimmer multi-dose pens, KwikPen-style devices and wider single-dose injection devices. Always check the exact physical device.
Can I choose a cooler only by the medication name?
No. Medication name alone may not identify the exact device format. Use the product version, device style and physical dimensions when checking fit.
How many GLP-1 pens fit in Odyssey?
Odyssey can accommodate up to 2 selected slimmer or multi-dose GLP-1 pens, or 1 selected wider injection device, depending on the exact format. Mounjaro KwikPen and Zepbound KwikPen are currently confirmed at up to 2 in Odyssey.
Can Holiday fit a GLP-1 injection device?
Holiday fits selected compact GLP-1 injection-device formats one at a time. Some wider single-dose devices do not fit Holiday, so check the detailed Holiday Fit Guide before ordering.
Which DISONCARE cooler has the most space for GLP-1 devices?
Intercontinental BC-B003 is the largest current DISONCARE hard medication cooler. For selected formats it can accommodate up to 5 multi-dose GLP-1 pens or up to 2 wider devices, but exact capacity depends on the specific injection device.
What should I do if a hotel refrigerator gets too cold or freezes my medication?
If a hotel or Airbnb refrigerator seems too cold, do not place medication directly against the back wall, cooling plate, freezer compartment, or other areas where freezing may occur.
Hotel mini-fridges can vary widely in temperature. Some may not stay cold enough, while others may create very cold spots near the rear wall or cooling element. If possible, check the refrigerator temperature before relying on it for medication storage, and follow the storage instructions for your exact medication.
Keep the medication away from direct contact with cold surfaces and use its original packaging when appropriate. Avoid assuming that every part of a mini-fridge has the same temperature.
If you think your medication may have frozen, become too warm, or remained at an unknown temperature, do not guess whether it is still suitable to use. Check the medication label and contact your pharmacist, healthcare provider, or medication manufacturer for product-specific guidance.
DISONCARE coolers can provide portable cooling support during transfers, outings, flights, and periods away from reliable refrigeration, but they are not a substitute for the storage instructions provided with your medication.
