The DISONCARE Odyssey Series is designed for travelers who need more carrying flexibility than a single-device cooler without moving to the larger Intercontinental Series.

Odyssey uses the same core cooler-body capacity across BC-B001 Standard, BC-B004 Digital Temperature Display and BC-B006 Mechanical Dial. The three models mainly differ by lid configuration rather than usable medication-carrying space.

Depending on the exact injection device and packing setup, Odyssey can accommodate up to 3 selected insulin pens, up to 2 selected multi-dose GLP-1 pens, or 1 selected wider injection device.

Important: These are device-specific capacity references. Do not assume that every injection pen or device fits at the maximum quantity. Always check the exact physical device rather than relying only on the medication name.

BC-B001, BC-B004 and BC-B006 Use the Same Fit Guide

Odyssey is available with three different lid configurations:

BC-B001 — Standard Lid: a simple non-display lid.
BC-B004 — Digital Temperature Display: provides a one-touch reference to the air temperature near the sensor inside the cooler.
BC-B006 — Mechanical Dial: uses a battery-free mechanical dial and interior metal probe to provide an interior air-temperature reference.

These lid differences do not create three separate medication-capacity systems. The same Odyssey device-fit guidance applies across BC-B001, BC-B004 and BC-B006.

Actual usable space depends on how the device, Blue BioGel Bottle and protective pouch are arranged together.

Insulin Pens That Fit Odyssey

Odyssey is designed to carry up to 3 selected common insulin pens when their dimensions and packing arrangement allow.

This makes Odyssey a useful middle-size option for users who need more than the single-pen capacity of Holiday but do not need the larger Intercontinental body.

GLP-1 Injection Devices That Fit Odyssey

GLP-1 injection devices vary much more in width and overall format than many common insulin pens. For this reason, Odyssey GLP-1 capacity should be divided between slimmer / multi-dose pen formats and wider injection devices.

Selected Multi-Dose and Pen-Style Devices

Depending on the exact format, Odyssey can accommodate up to 2 selected multi-dose GLP-1 pens.

Current confirmed device-specific references include:

Zepbound KwikPen — up to 2

Other GLP-1 devices should be checked individually before assigning a specific quantity. Do not automatically apply the confirmed KwikPen quantity to single-dose or wider devices sold under the same medication name.

Wider GLP-1 Devices

Some single-dose injection devices require substantially more room than a typical multi-dose pen. For these wider formats, Odyssey should generally be treated as a single-device fit unless a different quantity has been specifically confirmed.

How to Confirm Whether Your Device Fits Odyssey

1. Identify the Exact Device Format

Record the full medication name, device version and delivery format. Do not rely only on the active ingredient or medication family.

2. Measure the Full Device With the Cap Attached

Use the device in the same condition you plan to carry it. Measure the complete length and widest external diameter.

3. Include the Protective Pouch

The protective pouch or another suitable barrier occupies part of the usable space. Capacity should reflect the actual packed configuration rather than the bare injection device alone.

4. Account for the Blue BioGel Bottle

Odyssey fit is determined with the cooling setup in place. Do not compare an injection-device diameter only with the empty internal chamber diameter.

5. Check the Quantity You Actually Need

Three slim insulin pens, two selected multi-dose GLP-1 pens and one wider device can all represent different valid Odyssey packing situations. The maximum quantity therefore depends on the exact device.

6. Never Force the Lid Closed

The Odyssey lid should close naturally without excessive pressure on the injection devices. If the contents must be compressed or forced into place, move to the larger Intercontinental Series.

Odyssey Cooling Support

Odyssey provides up to 60 hours of cooling support under stated test conditions. Cooling performance varies with ambient temperature, preparation, packing setup, device load and how frequently the cooler is opened.

The “up to 60H” statement should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every medication remains within one fixed temperature range for 60 hours. Always follow the storage instructions supplied with your specific medication.

BC-B001, BC-B004 and BC-B006 use the same core Odyssey fit logic.
