Choosing the right medication cooler starts with the injection device you actually carry. DISONCARE coolers are available in different internal sizes, and injection pens and devices can vary in length, diameter, cap design and format.

Use this Fit Guide to compare DISONCARE Holiday, Odyssey and Intercontinental coolers by injection device type or by cooler series.

Important: Fit should be checked by the exact injection device and format, not by medication name alone. The same medication may use different device designs depending on dose, market or product version.

Find by DISONCARE Cooler Series

Already considering a specific DISONCARE cooler? Choose the series below to see which insulin pens, GLP-1 injection devices and other selected injection devices fit.

Holiday Series

Compact 1-Pen Cooler

Holiday is designed for carrying 1 compatible injection pen. It is the most compact hard medication cooler in the DISONCARE range and is suited to daily carry, appointments, commuting and shorter outings.

Because Holiday has the smallest internal space, checking your exact device before ordering is especially important.

Odyssey Series

Flexible 1–3 Pen Capacity Range

Odyssey provides more internal space while maintaining a compact cylindrical design. Depending on the exact injection device and packing setup, it can accommodate up to 3 selected insulin pens, 2 selected multi-dose GLP-1 pens, or 1 wider injection device.

The same fit guide applies to Odyssey BC-B001 Standard, BC-B004 Digital Temperature Display and BC-B006 Mechanical Dial models because they share the same core cooler-body capacity.

Intercontinental Series

Higher-Capacity 1–7 Pen Range

Intercontinental is designed for users who need more internal space for multiple compatible injection devices.

  • BC-B002: 1–5 pen capacity range depending on device size and packing setup.
  • BC-B003: 1–7 pen capacity range depending on device size and packing setup.

Because wider injection devices use more internal space, the maximum number of devices varies by exact model and format.

How to Check Injection Device Fit

A medication name alone does not always tell you how much space the injection device requires. Before selecting a cooler, check the exact device you plan to carry.

1. Check the Exact Device Format

Injection devices may differ by country, dose or product version. For example, multi-dose pens and wider single-dose injection devices can require very different amounts of internal space even when they are used for similar treatments.

2. Check Length and Diameter

Device length is only one part of fit. Diameter, cap shape, protective pouch and the position of the cooling component also affect how many devices can be packed comfortably.

3. Check the Quantity You Need to Carry

A cooler may fit one wider device but several slimmer pens. The capacity numbers shown on DISONCARE Fit Guides therefore refer to specific device formats rather than a universal number that applies to every injection pen.

4. Do Not Force the Cooler Closed

Compatible devices should fit without excessive pressure on the injection device or cooler lid. If your device does not fit comfortably with the required cooling setup and protective barrier, choose a larger cooler.

Why Device-Specific Fit Matters

Injection-device design has changed significantly across insulin, GLP-1, biologic, fertility and other injectable therapies. Some products use slim multi-dose pens, while others use wider single-dose devices or market-specific pen formats.

For this reason, DISONCARE Fit Guides separate:

This makes it easier to check the actual device rather than assuming every pen or injection product has the same dimensions.

Compare DISONCARE Cooler Sizes

If you are still deciding which cooler series to choose, use these general size-selection guidelines:

  • Holiday: 1 compatible injection pen.
  • Odyssey: flexible 1–3 pen capacity range depending on device format.
  • Intercontinental BC-B002: 1–5 pen capacity range depending on device format.
  • Intercontinental BC-B003: 1–7 pen capacity range depending on device format.

These numbers are size-selection references. Actual capacity depends on the exact injection device and packing arrangement.

Before You Choose a Cooler

Injection devices can vary in length, diameter, cap design and format by medication, dose and market. Fit information on these pages is based on the listed device formats and cooler configurations.

Always check the exact injection device you use rather than relying on medication name alone.
