Digital Temperature Display

The Odyssey Digital Temperature Display provides a quick reference to the air temperature near the sensor inside the cooler. Tap the lid to view the current reading while preparing or checking the cooler during travel.

One-Touch Temperature Reference

Tap the lid once to view the interior air temperature near the lid sensor.

When to Check

After loading, opening, or repacking the cooler, allow time for the internal air temperature and display reading to stabilize before checking the temperature.

Sealed Long-Life Battery

The display uses a sealed CR2450 battery designed for approximately 2 years of normal use. The battery is not user-replaceable, helping reduce moisture intrusion and protect the electronic components.

Up to 60 Hours of Cooling Support

The Odyssey Cooler provides up to 60 hours of cooling support under controlled test conditions when used with the Blue BioGel Bottle and Emergency Bottle.

At 30°C / 86°F

Cooling Setup

• Blue BioGel Bottle: Provides the primary cooling support.
  
• Emergency Bottle: Used as part of the extended cooling setup to help increase total cooling duration.

Step 1 — Freeze the Blue BioGel Bottle

Place the Blue BioGel Bottle in a freezer at approximately −18°C / 0°F for 6–8 hours before use.

Step 2 — Prepare the Frozen BioGel Bottle

After removing it from the freezer, either:

• leave it at room temperature for approximately 15–30 minutes, or
  
• rinse the outside under normal tap water for approximately 30–60 seconds.
  

This step helps moderate the surface temperature of the frozen BioGel Bottle before packing.

Step 3 — Prepare Your Injection Devices

Place compatible injection devices in the included protective pouch or use another suitable barrier where appropriate.

Avoid prolonged direct contact between injection devices and the frozen BioGel Bottle.

Step 4 — Load the Cooler

Place the prepared Blue BioGel Bottle and compatible injection devices inside the cooler without excessive pressure.

Step 5 — Close the Lid

Close the lid securely and keep the cooler closed as much as possible during travel.

Step 6 — Check the Digital Display

Tap the lid to view the interior air temperature reference. Allow the reading to stabilize after opening or repacking the cooler.

Step 7 — Use the Emergency Bottle When Needed

For extended cooling support, prepare and use the Emergency Bottle according to the included instructions.

Do not pour ice or water directly into the main cooler body.
