The Intercontinental Cooler is designed to provide extended cooling support for temperature-sensitive medication during travel.

When the Blue BioGel Bottle and Emergency Bottle are prepared and used as directed, cooling support can reach up to 74 hours under controlled test conditions.

Important Performance Note

Actual cooling performance may vary depending on preparation, ambient temperature, medication load, packing setup, and how often the cooler is opened.

Always follow the storage instructions provided with your medication.

Step 1 — Freeze the Blue BioGel Bottle

Place the Blue BioGel Bottle in a freezer at approximately −18°C / 0°F for 6–8 hours before use.

Step 2 — Prepare the Frozen BioGel Bottle

After removing it from the freezer, either:

• leave it at room temperature for approximately 15–30 minutes, or
  
• rinse the outside under normal tap water for approximately 30–60 seconds.
  

This step helps moderate the surface temperature of the frozen BioGel Bottle before packing.

Step 3 — Prepare Your Injection Devices

Place compatible injection devices in the included protective pouch or use another suitable barrier where appropriate.

Avoid prolonged direct contact between injection devices and the frozen BioGel Bottle.

Step 4 — Load the Cooler

Place the prepared Blue BioGel Bottle and compatible injection devices inside the cooler. Arrange the contents without excessive pressure and make sure the lid can close completely.

Step 5 — Close and Carry

Close the lid securely and use the foldable handle for convenient carrying.

Step 6 — Use the Emergency Bottle When Needed

For extended cooling support, prepare and use the Emergency Bottle according to the included instructions.

Do not pour ice or water directly into the main cooler body.
